Tops Off to Bondi Beach!

Bondi Beach...It was beautiful and a great place for a few days rest! Our hostel, Noah's, was absolutely awesome and overlooked the Beach so we didn't have to drive anywhere...thank goodness. We had some flatmates from Ireland join us in a 6 bed dorm: Dermot and Anton. We layed into them pretty quick with the jokes...but are now quite aware that things we say can be misinterpreted very easily! Cally says to Dermot (pointing her finger at him): "I know where you sleep and I am going to give you the biggest wet willy!" And Dermot's jaw dropped and all that came out of his mouth was: "Jesus Christ, thanks!" We all had a pretty good laugh and then had to explain what a wet willy really was! They were pretty quick to joke back and we had a great time.

There were many shops along the beach and at night we went to The Shack, the bar at our hostel. In there we met Ireland, Switzerland, Korea and England. We tried to head out to some clubs but the bus wouldn't stop for us! Finally we made it to Oxford Street and realized that it was a big party scene.....for gay people! We felt quite out of place! PLUS, all the music in the clubs in Australia is techno so if we even try to dance we look like we are having seizures on the dance floor!

We said goodbye to Sydney on Sunday night and traveled over the Harbour Bridge for the 3rd time (this time on purpose!) Cally is still doing great in the drivers seat...the only problem: she keeps turning on the windshield wipers whenever she wants to signal! It gets funnier every time...
